Hi all,

So if you like my poetry you should definitely check out my profile on vocal as well. I’ll be sharing some more poetry there, here as well of course! I may post some short stories there too, a few reflective pieces.

I’m still working on my novel Freefall through channillo.

And revising my other novel “Kings of Millburrow”.

I’m trying to write every day. I look at the world and I know there’s so much more that needs to be said, so many thoughts that need to be put to paper for the world to see. Because words make a difference, they have always made a difference. But still, even in these moments of deep reflection I find myself staring at a blank page. And why? Why is that? Is it because I’m afraid to speak out against the norms in my society? No, I do so freely when I open my mouth. But paper…pen to paper, the spilling of ink…there’s something more intimate about that isn’t there? It’s a moment saved, on a slip for others to see. A little feather of a thought that can fly, from one hand to the next, one brain to the next, with multiple variations formed by multiple minds. Once you write it, you can’t take it back.

“Do something every day that scares you”- Eleanor Roosevelt (Brilliant woman).

You hit the proverbial nail on the head. When you say something,it has no permanence like when it’s written down. It may remain in somebody’s memory, but there’s no permanent record of it like there would be if it were written down. The best thing is to keep thinking…keep those thoughts floating around in your head…you’re doing well !
