My first full length novel is now available! I started this novel during my sophomore year at URI. It began as a 3 page story prompted by the creation of a fictional town map. And now here we are! Synopsis below:
“History had a way of repeating itself in Millburrow. It was a funny thing.
The town of Millburrow was heading into another sleepy summer when Hank Phipps drove into town and took up post in Home on the Hill, a small inn owned and operated by the Barber family. With him, he brought unrest and an array of questions. The citizens find themselves looking over their shoulders and acting in the shadows. Is this reporter, who he says he is, or is there something more sinister to his plan?
As he begins associating himself with the Millburrow elite, the King family, the questions turn into suspicions and distrust erupts. Sisters turn on one another and friends drift apart. How far will the members of this town go to keep their secrets hush-hush? And how far will Hank go to unravel a past he never truly understood? Will this stranger be able to unite two families that have been feuding for centuries or will their war destroy them all? Only time will tell.
Millburrow—still stuck in the past, clawing for a change. But it’s still Croft vs. King—two families set on bringing turmoil to all.
