The creation of maps helps not only the reader and the writer immerse themselves in the story! Lawton County is a fictional town I created for my new serial on Channillo, it is a collection of short stories dealing with the inhabitants of the small town.
In the beginning Lawton was a town full of upstanding citizens and “good Christian folk”, but after the introduction of Clayton and the first Maple Meadow Murder the town took a downhill turn. Now, it is known as the home of the Lawless and unforgiving. Anything goes when nobody knows the truth of the small town.
Since last week, two installments have been introduced to “Lawton Tales” and they take a closer look at Lillian Cohen, the daughter of Jacob Cohen and the woman who marries George Brown (she is of course, his widow).
Today the final part of the three part Lillian Cohen story will be posted to “Lawton Tales”
