Vibrant fades,
Takes a breath before dawn,
As dew settles it exhales,
Breath puffing like cigarette fume-
It spreads and thins,
Through limb and home
Bringing light to eyes,
Sparking the first few,
Neglecting one and his friends say
You woke up on the wrong side of the bed
Where vibrant fades
And muse slumbers waiting,
Patiently waiting
For a taste of the light.
