Hi again!
It has been a while since I’ve posted one of these. Today’s writer’s block cure deals with thinking of new story ideas, plot twists, or even characters.

Take a shower.

Sounds simple right? It is!

Stop stressing. Turn on the water and let the stress melt away. Light a candle. When alone and free from the pressures of life and the outside world your creative mind is able to wander. The little voices in your head that create the characters and plots that fill the pages of your notebooks are able to be heard when we take the time to listen. With holidays approaching and the new school year starting many of us are having trouble finding time to listen. Really, is it that hard? Sadly it is. We have so many other thoughts running rampant in our mind that the creative bugs are afraid to come out, they are drowned by issues that appear more important. But are they?

Take a minute.

Turn on the water, light the candle, play the music quietly and just let yourself relax.

Enjoy and good luck with your writer’s block!
